Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
Introduction
1 These terms and conditions are the rules (the ‘Rules’) that apply to the prize draw (the ‘Prize Draw’). The Prize Draw and these Rules are governed by English law. By entering the Prize Draw you are accepting these Rules and agreeing to be bound by them.
2 The Prize Draw is organized and promoted by Rokesmith Limited, Accsol House High Street, Johnstown, Wrexham, LL14 2SH, United Kingdom (‘Rokesmith’).
3 Rokesmith reserves the right to cancel the Prize Draw or to amend these Rules at any time without notice. Notification of cancellation or any amendment(s) will be posted on the following page https://www.instagram.com/paul.a.j.sellers/.
4 Rokesmith’s decision is final on all matters relating to this Prize Draw and these Rules and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
5 In the event of any dispute regarding these Rules or otherwise relating to the Prize Draw, Rokesmith’s decision shall be final.
6 The Prize Draw will close at 11 AM GMT on the 22nd April 2019.
Entries
7 There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary in order to participate in the Prize Draw. Each person can sign up only once.
8 The Prize Draw is open to persons who are 18 years old or over.
9 Rokesmith reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if, in Rokesmith’s opinion, the entrant has breached any of these Rules or otherwise acted improperly or dishonesty.
10 Employees of Rokesmith and any individual directly or indirectly associated with employees or the operation of the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
11 Entry into the Prize Draw can only be made by commenting on the following Instagram post and tagging 2 other valid Instagram accounts: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwRZzAOjC09/
12 Internet transmissions are not guaranteed to be secure against interception. Rokesmith will not be responsible for entries that are not received.
The draw and prize
13 The Prize Draw will take place on the 22nd April 2019, the prize is a signed copy of ‘Essential Woodworking Hand Tools’ book by Paul Sellers.
14 The winner will be drawn from the entries received by the closing date. The winner will be drawn at random by a third party number selector. We will assign each entry a number and we will use Google’s Number Generator to pick the winning number. The decision is final.
15 Rokesmith reserves the right to substitute the prize at any time with a prize of equal or greater value. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
16 The prize winner will be announced in the caption of the Instagram post asking for them to send a reply via direct message on Instagram to @paul.a.j.sellers. The selected winner has 48 hours to get in contact, if not another winner will be randomly selected. The prize will be sent by post. Where the prize winner is located outside of the United Kingdom, the winner will be responsible for paying any customs other import duties, tariffs and taxes.
17 The prize winner agrees that Rokemith may publish their name, town/city of residence in any media in connection with the Prize Draw and on Rokesmith’s website. The name of the winner will be available upon written request to Rokesmith.
18 Rokesmith shall have no liability whatsoever for any costs or expenses or for any damage, loss or disappointment incurred by any entrant as a result of his/her participation in the Prize Draw or in respect of the prize.
Use of personal information
19 Each entrant, by entering the Prize Draw, consents to Rokesmith processing his/her personal data (including their Instagram handle and any contact information supplied by the entrant) to administer the Prize Draw, deliver prizes and to ensure compliance with these Rules.
20 Entrants may be requested to take part in Rokesmith’s promotional activities relating to the Prize Draw and Rokesmith reserves the right to use the names and images of entrants for its promotional purposes provided that the consent of the entrant has been obtained in advance.
